A project I worked on show casing the various traditional outfits of women across the world, of different cultures and from different periods of time. Coupled with scenery from the country they originate from.
Brazil - Baiana dress (still worn today in festivals, by certain vendors, practitioners of the Candomblé Afro-Brazillian religion)
Russia - Kokoshnik headdress and sarafan dress (16-19th cen)
China - Tang Dynasty Ruqun dress (7-10th century)
Taiwan - Paiwan tribe casual garb (An Austronesian/aboriginal group in Taiwan, they have mostly assimilated into Han Taiwanese society, many traditions are now endangered.)
India - Sari (still in use today)
Jordan - Hijab (still in use today)
